Cookie Policy

1. About This Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar tracking technologies (collectively, "cookies") that IO Capital, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, and its affiliates ("IO Capital," "we," "us," or "our") use on the website located at www.iocapital.com (the "Site"), how we use them, and the choices you have about them.

This Cookie Policy is incorporated into and supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes our broader privacy practices. Capitalized terms not defined in this Cookie Policy have the meanings given to them in the Privacy Policy.

2. What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your browser or device when you visit it. Cookies are widely used to make websites function, to improve site performance, to enable certain features, and to deliver more relevant content and communications.

We also use similar technologies in this Cookie Policy where we refer to "cookies." These include pixel tags (small images embedded in web pages or emails that signal an interaction has occurred), local storage objects (data stored by your browser separately from cookies), software development kits, and identity-resolution scripts. The same management options described in Section 8 below apply to these technologies.

3. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies to:

  • Make the Site work properly and securely.
  • Understand how visitors use the Site, so we can improve it.
  • Identify the organizations and, in some cases, individuals visiting the Site, so we can follow up appropriately with prospective contacts.
  • Remember your preferences and consent choices.
  • Support our marketing and communications, including retargeting and conversion measurement.

4. Categories of Cookies We Use

We classify the cookies on the Site into the following categories, consistent with industry standards and most modern consent management frameworks.

CategoryDescriptionExamples of Use
Strictly NecessaryCookies that are required for the Site to function. These cookies are always active and cannot be disabled in our cookie consent banner because the Site would not function without them.Maintaining session state; remembering consent choices; security
Performance and AnalyticsCookies that collect information about how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are visited most often and whether visitors encounter errors. The information is used to improve how the Site works.Web analytics platforms; aggregated visitor metrics

5. Specific Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The following table lists the specific services that set cookies or use similar technologies on the Site. We will update this table when we add or remove services.

If we add or change the services listed above, the Osano consent banner will reflect the current configuration. The most accurate and current list of cookies active on the Site is available in our Osano cookie banner — click "Cookie Preferences" in the banner footer to view it.

6. Visitor Identification Services: Specific Disclosure

We use third-party visitor identification services — currently RB2B and Leadpipe — that attempt to associate Site visit activity with a company or, where possible, an individual professional based on publicly available business information and identity-graph matching. These services use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to make those associations.

We use the information provided by these services for sales, marketing, and business development purposes, including identifying organizations and individuals who may have an interest in IO Capital and following up with them through our normal outreach channels.

Where applicable law characterizes the use of these services as "sharing" of personal information (including for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar U.S. state laws), you have the right to opt out, as described in Section 8 below. For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, these services will not be active unless you have provided affirmative consent through our cookie consent banner.

7. How Long Cookies Last

Cookies are either:

  • Session cookies — temporary cookies that are deleted when you close your browser; or
  • Persistent cookies — cookies that remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them.

The "Duration" column in the table in Section 5 indicates how long each category of cookie persists. You can delete persistent cookies at any time using your browser settings.

8. How to Manage Cookies

You have several options for managing cookies.

8.1 Our Cookie Consent Banner (Osano)

When you visit the Site, our cookie consent banner (powered by Osano) presents you with choices about which categories of non-essential cookies you allow. You can change your choices at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the Site footer or in the banner itself. Your choices are recorded by category, and we will respect them on subsequent visits using the same browser.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions where prior consent is required for non-essential cookies, no non-essential cookies will be set unless and until you provide affirmative consent. By default, only Strictly Necessary cookies will be active.

In the United States, non-essential cookies may be set on a default-active basis, subject to your right to opt out using the consent banner or other methods described below.

8.2 Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a valid opt-out request from California residents and from residents of other U.S. states whose privacy laws recognize browser-based opt-out signals. If your browser transmits a GPC signal, we will treat that as a request to opt out of "sharing" and "selling" of your personal information, as those terms are defined under applicable law.

8.3 Browser Settings

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can:

  • View the cookies stored on your device.
  • Delete some or all cookies.
  • Block third-party cookies.
  • Block all cookies.

When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Cookie Policy. Material changes will be reflected in our consent banner and, where required by applicable law, communicated to you directly.
